Barack, the "Great Unifier"

Barack Obama delivered an address in Sunrise, Florida and had his 30-minute commercial simultaneous because I saw the Florida address on CNN.com live.
I watched the commercial on MSNBC and heard Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman tell the truth.
Chris pulls no punches and does not bite his tongue.
Keith and he agreed.
The pride of the father who provides is how they both described Sen. Obama.
Barack Obama is the Great Unifier forever.
And soon, he'll be President of the United States.
Of course Fixed News had some stupid stuff on after the commercial.
Barack knocked it out of the park tonight.
Also, bother to check out some of Barack's videos on You Tube at barackobamadotcom.
Don't forget to go to Obama for America to figure out your taxable wages and to find out where to vote early. You don't have a lot of time left to do so.
I voted Obama/Biden.

Barack is Dedicated

New tummy tuck proceedure makes you feel sexy

New Tummy Tuck Technique Increases Sensuality

ENCINITAS, Calif., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Inspired by San Diego fitness divas, Dr. Steve Laverson of Feel Beautiful Plastic Surgery in Encinitas and Carlsbad, CA developed a new abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) technique that creates a more sensuous, sculpted, fit appearance than traditional tummy tuck procedures. The operation incorporates advanced methods that shape surface contour to suggest a naturally trim, youthful, feminine torso.

Dr. Laverson refined his technique during the past several years, and found that women appreciate additional sculpture of their abdominal surface anatomy. "Most moms just want to feel sexy again after having children. This tummy tuck tightens the abdominal wall and removes excess skin like traditional techniques, but also controls surface contour and narrows the waist nicely. San Diego women live outdoors, are fitness devotees, and want to look good in swimsuits," said Laverson. Combined with other procedures such as breast augmentation or breast lift, the female silhouette is enhanced considerably in just one day, and results last for life.

According to Dr. Laverson, "this is a great investment for the post-partum woman who has lost her youthful shape and her feeling of femininity; nothing can take your nice new body away from you, regardless of stock prices or the real estate market. This is about feeling fit and feminine, and adds quality to life for moms everywhere."

Dr. Laverson published elements of his "fitness" abdominoplasty in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal in December 2006. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and has operated from Coastal San Diego offices for 15 yrs.

Nicolas Cage Gets Medieval, National Treasure III (finally) gets the green light

Nicolas Cage on the set of Knowing
while filming in in Australia

Galloping Into Theaters: Nicolas Cage will once again work with Gone in Sixty Seconds director Dominic Sena in Relativity Media's Season of the Witch. Story follows a fourteenth-century knight who must escort on horseback a girl suspected of being "the witch behind the Black Plague" to a distant monastery. The action-loving Sena was presumably hesitant until Cage convinced him that he "could put in some bitchin' horse chases." [HR]

National Treasure 3 is Officially a Go

Written by Stephanie Sanchez

It was certainly an all Disney, all the time kind of day here at IESB. The studios' preview and showcase of upcoming films was full of a lot of good information and surprises.

One surprise had producer Jerry Bruckheimer and actor Nicolas Cage on stage to talk about their favorite Disney franchise, “National Treasure.”
Jerry Bruckheimer, Nicolas Cage and Disney's Dick Cook confirmed that National Treasure 3 was currently in development.

Another installment of the popular history based franchise was expected but had not been officially announced.

No release date was given but rumors have it out during the holiday season of 2010.

Thank you, Gen. Colin Powell for endorsing Barack Obama

"He (Obama) brings a fresh new set of ideas...we need a generational change in this country" ~Gen. Colin Powell

Thank you anchor Don Lemon, CNN for airing a segment concerning this so-called phenomena of hate- filled talk at Gov. Sarah Palin/Sen. John McCain rallies

comment found on youtube:
"last Saturday I went to 200 homes, after the first few i started a check mark on clip board. By the end of the day I had 21 out of 200 homes tell me directly to my face they wouldn't support a "nigger". Half of those asked me how could I as a white person how could I support a "nigger". Welcome to Indiana where we are one book burning away from being Kansas."
found on youtube after a search of "sarah palin angry crowd"

found under the search terms "sarah palin racism"

Non-racist whites, please talk to your more close-minded counterparts. It would be helpful.
Why?
How would you like to work with these kinds of people everyday, knowing all you have depends on keeping that job? That's how it feels to be black in America!
These people aren't just idiots, they are human resource managers, supervisors, publishers, managing editors, station managers, clerks, shift leaders etc. They are people who have the decision to hire you or not. What chance do you think a black person has to be hired by these types of people?

It's easy to call blacks lazy or welfare queens after not hiring them to work where these people rule. And it is also cruel beyond belief.

Do black people live near here? I'm not familiar with Noosetown, PA and don't intend to be.
These aren't young kids saying these things, these are adults. How many of them do you think have hired blacks in the past 10 years?

This is what blacks are up against every day. I have been losing this fight for more than 20 years. Most industries have a prototype or two or 50 of these people. They multiply and share their hate--with a flag in their hand or in their mouths, "I love this country" they lie and then turn around and say things like this.
Well, today I have a flag in one hand and nun chucks in another. And a couple of Chinese Throwing Stars too. And I know how to use both. And I can read.

Not all white people are like this thank the Lord but see what Sarah Palin draws to her rallies? How can blacks vote Republican this year?

(Ifn it wasn't for interracial dating and marriage, we would have had an all out race war long ago. Thank goodness for the swirl!)

She and John McCain preach hate from their podium and wonder why we need Black Liberation Theology in the world. They lift lines from White Supremacist rhetoric and repeat it during their speeches. That is the main reason these people show up. They like hearing how perfect whites are and how imperfect the rest of us are.

These racist people are why we need Black Liberation Theology in the world. These people sound like a version of Rev. Wright. I wish I could get them all together in one room and make them get along.

How would you like growing up with people saying these things to you? How would you like going to a job interview and talking with these people? (Knowing they ain't gonna hire you!)

A woman actually said she fears Barack Obama and "his wife" will favor blacks if he wins.
Why?
Because she knows whites tend to favor whites so why wouldn't the blacks do the same?
It is surprising how much blacks and whites have in common--the biggest difference is skin color and the treatment behind it.
Black people have been treated like the underdog, the bullied stepchild and the black sheep in this country since forever but yet a resiliency has kept us here and thriving.

And here these racists show their true colors, feelings indicating that they don't care for it.

We need Black Liberation Theology for blacks. It's not about preaching hate but how to stand up for yourself and not be discouraged by these types of people who are shown in this video.

These people are the reason blacks have looked for the federal government to intervene on behalf of blacks--to go to schools, to get a job to not get lynched or murdered or burned out of our homes, to live where we want--even around people like these. This is why they don't like federal government intervention.

Funniest Web comments ever!

After most of the previous 12 months covering Barack Obama's campaign for the presidency, it was interesting, instructive and, well, relaxing to follow John McCain for the last few days. The differences between the two are striking.
Read this first

Now read this:
"Funniest Web comments ever"
I think Obama has good reason to not print these schedules and people have to wait for him because if not, there would be greater risks from someone to try and assassinate him. Unfortunately, there are still bigots and haters out there who want to see him dead just because of his skin color. What a shame! And the author of this article wants to put the blame back on Obama for this? Can you blame the man for wanting to avoid the crazy people who want to take him down?

It''s no wonder the airplane is smelly. It has people like you on it who haven''t washed their *** in days. You have the nerve to make a comment like that. What are you doing to remedy the problem? Go clean it up buster! While you''re at it wash your stinky ***.

Remember when reporters covered the news?

You know, they went to a newsworthy event, covered it, and then filed their stories?

This jackhole is complaining that his steak tartar is poorly prepared, and that his ride on the candidate''s plane leaves on the candidate''s schedule and not on his own.

If he needs more time and a better smelling plane, why doesn''t he fly commercial to these events?

Posted by Gonzosghost at 06:15 PM : Oct 09, 2008

Have you given any thought to the idea that Obama may not want to print out schedules when he as daily death threats? Please think before you write and put another''s life at risk for your own convenience.

And go here:

This morning, CBSnews.com posted a shocking first-person account of what it's like to travel with the Obama campaign, written by CBS' own Dean Reynolds. Reynolds points out what he calls the "striking" differences between how the Obama and McCain camps each treat the press corps. The Obama people are disorganized, unfriendly and fail to print the candidate's schedule in a satisfactory manner. Also, the plane smells.

How much does it cost you to shop?

The Rubes who comment on I-Report

Some of the comments I have received on my i-Reports have been downright mean and somewhat racist. It seems because I am black and will vote for Sen. Barack Obama, I am racist in action, stupid, uneducated, biased (against whom, I don't know) and need to get a life.
Hell, I am unemployed so I might have a bit of free time when the kids are in school.
What I find shocking is the tone--which is highly insulting--all because Sen. John McCain is losing.
Whose fault is it that McCain is losing and that I and several others are pointing it out?
The gall is unbelievable.
Not every comment is laced with stupidity and those posts inspire some posters who are obviously educated and refined to engage in conversations that are productive but overall, they are uneducated, unrefined-to-the-point-of-rube-ish-ness, racist, Neoconservative, comments. I don't ever want to meet some of these people because they would get the cussing of their lives!

Sushi dinner for the kids and I

I went to the bookstore this weekend to get my son some reading materials for class. There I saw a kit on sushi. We hunted down the needed materials and today had sushi for dinner.
The children loved it and I loved it because it was healthy and I didn't have to convince them to eat it.
It was fun to make too.
There is the seaweed wrap called nori ($1.98 at Super Wal-Mart) and then sticky rice or round grain rice (I made rice the regular way that I do it and it was sticky enough)and used tuna and other items like salad shrimp ($2), left-over $2 steak, onion, mushroom and bell pepper. It was really fun and it was nice to see the children eat without being coerced.
Now if someone can fix my Grind & Brew, I'll stop hand-wringing and fussing.
update: The Grind & Brew seems to be working fine.

No cold days in hell on the horizon

Change is a government that doesn't let deregulated industry take advantage of the people. True that.
Sen. John McCain was involved with the Keating 5 and allows his running mate to accuse Sen. Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists." A fellow board member and college professor held a coffee/meet and greet for him when he ran for Illinois State Senate. That is what really happened.
It seems McCain was closer to the fire than Obama. Obama was 8 when the Weathermen formed. John McCain was a grown man active in the Senate when he testified about his involvement in the Keating 5 Savings & Loan debacle (sound familiar?). If I were John and Sarah who is--wife to an anti-union, anti-American secessionist--I would keep my mouth shut! (before another skeleton fell out of it!)
Watch the video

Oh, and by the by, it will be a COLD DAY IN HELL before the American people allow McCain to tax their work site-provided health plan. What a lot of nerve. Imagine, you pay out of your check for the plan and then pay a tax in addition to that every time you get a check. Why is taking money out of an employee's check always the way to go for the Republicans? Imagine paying tax on a $12 to $19,000 health care plan. It costs enough just to insure the entire family. Work provided health care plans are expensive to the average person.
Guess what. John McCain wants to open the health care industry to more vigorous competition like his party did with banking. Can you believe this man? He really is out-of-touch.
What money will the everyday worker have to live on? Damn a $5,000 tax credit because that will go to the insurance company to pay on a $12-to-$19,000 individual health care plan. And you still have to pay the premiums. Why are McCain and Palin so eager to take money out of "Joe Six Pack's" paycheck? Don't they know how much he makes? I guess they want only for themselves to have nice things in this life. I guess we can wait or go without. That must be what it is: They think we should go without, while they have taxpayer-provided health care. McCain and Palin must think that they are better than "Joe Six Pack."
I agree with Obama, we can all have health care just as good as he has as a U.S. Senator.
Vote Obama.

By claiming that Democrat Barack Obama is "palling around with terrorists" and doesn't see the U.S. like other Americans, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin targeted key goals for a faltering campaign.
